Ruth holmes

Instructor - CHAIR YOGA

Ruth Holmes is a retired family practice physician, with a passion for teaching personal fitness, healthful nutrition and other components of a healthy lifestyle. She is a certified personal fitness trainer (AFAA) and certified PiYo instructor with training and experience in teaching in yoga, hot yoga, chair yoga, pilates and group exercise (including water exercise). Ruth teaches with a relaxed style and attention to the needs of the clients attending her classes.

Oh, and by the way, Ruth is 67 years young!

Molly Waller

Instructor - YOGA

Molly Waller is a 200–hour Certified Yoga Teacher. She received her instruction through Moksha Studio/Daren Friesen of Chicago. Molly has been leading various classes and workshops since her certification in November of 2011. The benefits of yoga are something Molly is passionate about sharing with others. The former 5 ½ year studio owner and operator finds her expression of yoga in a flowing, vinyasa style linking poses with focus on the breath, attention to proper alignment, and exploration of the transition. In addition to working with special groups like babies, toddlers, and kids, Molly is able to create a practice for an individual with physical limitations as well as working with emotional, mental, and spiritual issues. She believes yoga is very vast practice and with the primary focus of breathwork, yoga can enhance all people’s lives: all ages, all sizes, and of all belief systems.


Instructor - LYRA (AERIAL) HOOP

April Jennifer Choi has been dancing for almost all of her life. For the last 15 years, she has also been teaching various dance styles all across the country. Recently she became a circus performer and aerialist. She brings 8 years of aerial practice and 2 years of aerial instruction to Be You and over 2 decades of performing in the movement arts.

Mom of two awesome kids, daughter, sister, friend and a sports nut lol. Just one of the coolest and most chill type of a person you could ever meet. When asked how she would describe the type of person she is? (Mind you a difficult question to ask and get an answer from a person who is honestly very private and shy, believe it or not lol and also hates to talk about herself.) But, for anyone that knows her or has at least had a conversation with her, the answer is always the same. Always in the same tone of voice. Always consistent. And, always genuine...."I'm just being me. That's it. No biggie." And always ending with a slight shoulder shrug & shy embarrassed smile.

And yes, that is exactly her. ;-)

Mary horst

Instructor - BARRE FIT

Mary Horst teaches Barre at Be You. Mary brings with her 42 years of dance experience and has been teaching ballet, tap and jazz at Kim's Academy of Dance since age 17. Mary is employed full-time at a large insurance company. She is a Sustaining member of Junior League of Peoria. In her free time, Mary enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her family, dog Luna and cats Max, Oreo and Tembo.
